How to Install fonts-taml-tamu software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

fonts-taml-tamu software package provides TAMu family of non Unicode fonts for Tamil script, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install fonts-taml-tamu 

fonts-taml-tamu is installed in your system.

Make ensure the fonts-taml-tamu package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-taml-tamu *

You will get with fonts-taml-tamu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
